The Denver Broncos are ready to take the field as they reveal their roster updates ahead of the AFC Championship Game. In a significant development, center Luke Wattenberg has been confirmed as active for this crucial match on Sunday. Wattenberg, who was brought off injured reserve just yesterday, will play a vital role in the game, contributing to the Broncos' offensive line.
Notably, Wattenberg had an impressive run earlier this season, starting in all 15 games and participating in every offensive snap before he faced a setback that kept him out for the last month.
Another exciting addition is wide receiver Elijah Moore, who has been promoted from the practice squad and is now set to play. Although Moore hasn't yet made his debut with the Broncos, he brings an impressive track record, boasting 209 receptions for a total of 2,274 yards and nine touchdowns throughout his career.
However, not all news is positive for the Broncos. Wide receiver Troy Franklin, center Alex Forsyth, and safety JL Skinner are among the players who will not be participating in this game, as they have been marked inactive due to various injuries. Franklin is dealing with a hamstring issue, Forsyth has an ankle injury, and Skinner is sidelined with a quad problem, all of which were listed as questionable prior to the game.
On a brighter note, cornerback Reese Taylor and outside linebacker Que Robinson are both ready to contribute after having been inactive during the previous AFC Divisional Round.
