His coaching journey began at the college level, where he played football at Wisconsin and Wisconsin-Oshkosh. He then coached QBs at Oshkosh and Carroll University before becoming an offensive quality control coordinator at North Dakota State, where he worked with Trey Lance. Senger's impact was evident in Arizona, where veteran QB Jacoby Brissett, a favorite of Eagles coach Nick Sirianni, threw 23 touchdowns and only eight interceptions in 12 starts last season.
