FIA President's 2025 Vision: Annual Assemblies in Tashkent, Uzbekistan (2026)

Get ready, motorsport enthusiasts! The FIA is gearing up for a monumental event in 2025, and it's set to be a game-changer. The 'Star of the East', Tashkent, Uzbekistan, will be the backdrop for the 2025 FIA Annual General Assemblies and Awards, marking a significant gathering of global motorsport and mobility leaders.

This isn't just any conference; it's a pivotal week. Imagine nearly 500 senior FIA delegates from 149 countries converging to shape the future of motorsport and mobility. The agenda is packed with crucial topics: road safety, sustainable mobility, global sporting growth, and transport innovation. But here's where it gets exciting: the 2025 FIA Presidential Election will also take place, adding a layer of anticipation and strategic importance.

FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem will be in attendance, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration within the federation. He highlights the opportunity to listen, participate, and deepen the connection between sport and mobility. He's also proud of the achievements over the last four years and is focused on transforming the FIA into an organization that delivers meaningful value to society. Initiatives like the Affordable Cross Car and the Global Karting Plan are expanding participation in motorsport. Simultaneously, the FIA is strengthening its mobility mission, leading conversations on sustainable cities, safer roads, and the future of transport.

And this is the part most people miss... The conference is more than just meetings and discussions. It's about shaping the future. The FIA's structure is built on 245 Member Clubs, each playing a vital role in governance and operations. These clubs are divided into two main categories:

  • Mobility Clubs: Focused on road safety, travel, consumer rights, and sustainable mobility.
  • National Sporting Authorities (ASNs): Governing and developing motorsport at a national level, organizing events, and issuing licenses.

Ben Sulayem sees Tashkent as the ideal venue, a vibrant gateway between past and future. The conference will be hosted in association with Galaxy Entertainment Group and will be held at the International Convention Centre from June 10-12.
