Ralph Lauren's Western-Inspired Holiday Experience in West Hollywood
The holiday season in Los Angeles, known for its year-round pleasant weather and palm trees, can be a subtle affair. However, Ralph Lauren's arrival in West Hollywood transforms the city into a winter wonderland. On a Friday evening, the iconic brand created a magical experience in a parking lot, featuring a Western-style setting with Christmas trees, twinkling lights, and a plethora of plaids.
Kate Hudson, a Ralph Lauren enthusiast, expressed her enthusiasm to Vogue. She imagined expanding the event to three blocks next year, praising the positive energy and the idea itself. Hudson, dressed in a cream cable knit turtleneck and a floor-length silk skirt, reminisced about her childhood in Snowmass, Colorado, and her father's love for Ralph Lauren, often spotted in Aspen.
The event also attracted novelist Jenny Han, who shared her excitement about the upcoming 'The Summer I Turned Pretty' movie. Han, dressed in a red plaid dress and a black velvet cropped jacket, mentioned her own holiday party, where guests were encouraged to dress up inspired by the movie.
As guests arrived, they were greeted with cocktail trays and a popular Ralph's coffee truck, offering espresso martinis. The Polo Bar favorites, such as mini grilled cheeses and pigs in a blanket, were served by servers dressed in denim, creating a vibrant atmosphere. A vintage red pickup truck, emblazoned with RL, added a rustic charm to the event, providing a perfect backdrop for family photos.
The personalization station, featuring hand-painted designs by DTLAcustom, allowed guests to customize denim jackets, shirts, eyewear cases, and holiday candles. The highlight of the evening was a performance by singer and musician Laufey, who captivated the audience with a mix of holiday favorites and her own hits. Her performance, despite her mouth being numb from Invisalign, was a hit, leaving the crowd in laughter.
McKenna Grace, known for her role in 'Ghostbusters: Afterlife', expressed her delight at the event's charm and Southern vibes. She was seen swaying during the show, dressed in a black leather Ralph Lauren jacket and matching pants.
The Ralph Lauren Holiday Experience is open to the public on December 6 and 7, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., at 8495 Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Don't miss out on this magical experience!
